The endless question….what clothes, shoes? Will I need a coat? And of course as soon as I dat my destination I would have regrets… I should have packed ****!!!! It was hard enough before Ava now it is impossible. No matter how much I pack where ever we go will just not be the same as home. So, now I spend days considering what I absolutely need…after all there is only so much room in a suitcase.
This past trip to MI I included 2 of her favorite books, 2 toys, her blanket and favorite stuffed animal. Thank goodness my mom saved enough of my old toys and such that Ava has plenty already waiting for her!
After surveying my pile there was one more item we could not leave home without…Ava’s must have crib accessory these days…the Twilight Turtle by Cloud B. He sits in her crib every night and as she falls asleep she pushes his buttons changing the colors of the constellations flashing throughout her room. It is charming!

In fact, this is the second product from Cloud B that we have enjoyed. As an infant Ava slept peacefully to the soothing sounds of her Sleep Sheep. It was one of the only ways to sooth her to sleep. We even bought the travel version so that it made it back to Michigan several times. She loved every sound it made; waves, rain and whales “singing”.

I could not imaging how difficult it is to travel for any length of time with a little one!! You are such a terrific mom Greta!! Ava is one lucky girl!!
