With Ava almost 15 months old and me going a little stir crazy this week, I thought it was time to visit Everett’s Imagine Children’s Museum. Yes, Everett has its own children’s museum and according to several reports many people even prefer it to Seattle’s Children’s Museum. Even better it is less than 5 minutes away basically right down the street!
What fun we had! When we first arrived there was a field trip= many big kids so we tried to stay out of the way. Ava played in the water room, climbed stairs, jumped on bridge to the tree house, enjoyed the play structure and slides on the rooftop and ran…everywhere!
Bottom line: It is small but has a lot to offer especially from ages 3-8 years old. Many pretend play areas (restaurant, theater, airplane, vet office…), water room, rooftop play structure, dino dig, construction and brain puzzles the list goes on. I only wish that they had a sand area and that the Water Room had more reachable space for smaller kids. Highly recommended I see a family pass in our future!
